A warm inviting space for your child

Child Therapy Services (Ages 5–12)

Children naturally express themselves differently than adults. When a young child is struggling, traditional talk therapy may not fully capture their inner world. Our specialized child clinicians provide a warm, secure, and engaging space where children can safely process difficult feelings and build essential life skills.

🔹 Therapeutic Methods for Children

Children communicate through activity. Rather than forcing them into formal conversations, our therapists utilize evidence-based, child-centered modalities:

  • Child-Centered Play Therapy: Play is a child's natural language, and toys are their words. Through play, children project their internal conflicts and learn to master difficult emotional experiences.

  • Sandtray Therapy: Using a specialized tray filled with sand and miniature figures, children create three-dimensional worlds. This powerful, non-verbal method allows them to safely externalize complex emotions or traumatic memories that are too difficult to put into spoken words.

  • Emotion Regulation & Coping Skills: We actively teach children how to recognize emotional triggers in their bodies, practicing real-time tools for impulse control, frustration tolerance, and self-soothing.

🔹 Integrated Family Support

Healing doesn't happen in isolation, and sustainable change requires a team effort. To ensure your child thrives outside of our office, we offer dedicated parent coaching and family therapy sessions alongside the child's individual therapy. We partner closely with you to share clinical insights, track progress, and provide you with practical, real-world tools to support your child's emotional and behavioral growth at home.
